This company is a leading provider of systems and data related software to variety of industries. With a really positive and vibrant company ethos and atmosphere this is a challenging yet ultimately very rewarding position. This role is a product manager position working within the Product Management Team, reporting to one of the Senior Product Managers.
The role is to work closely with a large number of business areas co-ordinating the launch of new products. This is a highly commercially focused role, taking completed products and co-ordinating with a variety of internal teams including sales, marketing, legal and technical, not to mention co-ordinating with external parties also. You will also be keeping abreast of new developments in the product range, researching markets and competitor products to scope business cases for new opportunities.
You will be managing the capture programs product set, taking ownership for the whole product development life cycle from introduction to retirement. They will act as both internal expert and external champion for their product set.
The role will be based in Clapham, South London.
Candidates selected for interviewed will:
Have 2 - 4 years experience within a product management capacity having managed the entire product development lifecycle ideally within an IT hardware / software or Telco environment.
Have been in a customer-focused role where they have conducted activities like customer focus groups and usability studies.
Be commercially astute and focused, with a good deal of business acumen gained through experience ideally within a similar software, telco, hardware or other technically focused industry.
Possess very strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Fit in the vibrant atmosphere of the company, outwardly displaying a switched on, self starting nature.
