My client is a market leader that supplies hi tech special purpose machinery to a number of safety critical industries and due to winning a string of high profile, multi-million pound projects an exciting opportunity exists for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them.

Reporting to senior directors, you will be working as part of a successful and close knit project team you will take full commercial and technical ownership of your own projects from concept to installation and commission. You will be managing projects for some of the key players in the industry, whilst simultaneously establishing yourself as one of the markets finest Mechanical Design Engineers.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and ideally from a mechanical engineering background you will be s business minded Mechanical Design Engineer with the ability to manage projects from concept to production. This is a challenging role that will be constantly requiring a pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach to your work.
Preferred backgrounds include nuclear, oil and gas, aerospace, power generation, special purpose machinery or similar industries, in addition you will be able to add an extra dimension to an already highly successful team.
