Hedge Fund, Infrastucture Support Engineer, Windows Server, MCP

My Hedge Fund client is looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Engineer to join its IT Support Team. This individual will focus on supporting the firm’s server and network infrastructure.

The successful candidate should ideally have:

Expert knowledge of Windows Server Technologies. MCP preferred but not essential.
Expert knowledge of XP platform and MS Office.
Experience of administration on Netapp filers
Experience of Domino administration
Experience of Symantec Backupexec
Experience of PC imaging technologies.
Exposure to Market data applications
Knowledge of network technologies (Cisco,Nortel)

Previous Financial services background is advantageous but not needed if fit all the technical requirements.

The role is initially contract.
