A leading investment bank is looking to hire a permanent business analyst to join their team dedicated to developing and supporting the core financial applications A leading investment bank is looking to hire a permanent business analyst to join their team dedicated to developing and supporting the core financial applications (including Treasury) for the investment bank globally. The team aims to provide the most efficient and cost effective financial control and reporting capability in global investment banking by co-ordinating the implementation of business driven change programmes.

This Business Analyst (BA) role will increase the team’s effectiveness in translating new and complex business requirements into detailed and comprehensive functional and data requirements and mapping these requirements to target functional and operational models to IT architectures.

The role will involve spending time advising and consulting the change-the-bank teams within the bank in order to understand the business domain and operating model, front to back data flows, business processes and data quality issues.

From there it will lead to advising IT architects, development managers and delivery managers on detailed tactical and strategic functional requirements and the overall business effectiveness of proposed solutions.

We are looking for a business analyst with participation in front to back implementations across the project lifecycle within the trading arm of an investment bank but would consider those with more group exposure and strong business knowledge.
