Server Development Engineer-Gaming Firm-Java-J2EE-London-Circ.£50k

My world-renowned client is immediately looking for a server development engineer to join their gaming team and work on brand new projects. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced and dedicated server development engineer to work on cutting edge projects. They are one of the worlds biggest games producers, with multiple internal studios that have successfully shipped many leading titles. They are looking for you to work on their flagship, next gen product. Based in Central London they are offering a salary of between £40-50k with a great package and fantastic benefits.The role will include:

- Working on the online feature of games.
- Designing technical solutions to meet requirements.
- Facilitating game teams in the server-side development.

To be considered you must:

- Have strong Java/J2EE knowledge.
- Basic Unix/Linux skills.
- Experience in SQL and PL/SQL
- Have strong web server knowledge including Tomcat, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Ajax, XHTML and XML.
- Be able to setup and configure servers in accordance with requirements
- Develop server components for online games.

Any further knowledge of C++, , Oracle or Perl and Bash scripting would massively strengthen your application but are by no means essential.
