Energy Commercial Manager required for Commodity Firm, London

Our client is a leading European Energy Exchange operating primarily in the electricity and gas sectors across Western Europe. An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to work in their central London offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some management experience looking to make the next move into senior management. The role will involve managing a sales team, setting commercial strategy and continually marketing the firm to clients, banks, utilities and trading houses. Responsibility and ownership will be given from the onset, with a realistic possibility of influencing the expansion of the business in the near future. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of the energy industry and the financial markets, and an experience of target driven management. Experience in commercial negotiation with senior figures in the energy trading industry is a prerequisite. Strong analytical skills and numerical skills highlighted through a good degree are required too. You will utilise and build on this knowledge and experience through exposure to the driving forces behind the operational side if the business – an excellent addition to your CV.
