Project Engineer - Subsea Service Company

Huxley Associates have an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer, to assist with a 6-month contract for one of our Subsea Service Clients in Aberdeen.

The role has been created to support an existing team of engineers and assist on a major development project.

We require candidates to have experience of working within a design or project role, with a ship type deployment system. For instance Drillships, DSVs or Equipment lay barges equipment, winches , A frames , LARS, Cranes, Vessel Equipment , VLS systems or Pipe lay equipment. We also require candidates to be familiar with Diverless construction projects.

In addition we require candidates to have some of the following skills and experience:

- Autocad / other drawing package literate
- FEA ( Package Familiar)
- Classical Analysis ( Hand Calcs )
- DNV lifting codes/ Vessel codes

- Design of small structures using structural analysis packages
- Hydraulic / Mechanical Design skills and component selection
- IWOCS experience would also be beneficial
