Finance Project / Change Manager (Product Control experience) International Role (95-120k)

A leading investment bank is looking to hire a Finance Project / Change Manager to run the project to implement a new general ledger. The role will involve the day-to-day management of initially 3 staff responsible for the Global Banking Tranche requirements. It will require day-to-day responsibility for all business interaction with IT whilst also being the key contact for the business. It will also involve liasing with all parts of the wider finance transformation programme whilst participating in project planning and monitoring the process of project according to the plan.

The successful candidate will be required to perform analysis of current state systems process to understand the impact of new architecture whilst also generating analysis and choice for decisions for the business community.

They are looking for someone with a minimum of 10 years experience in Investment Banking with a large amount of this time spent within Product Control and Change Management areas. You will need a solid knowledge of capital markets products, systems, control environment and financial reporting. An accountancy qualification will almost certainly be required. You will require strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

It will require someone with excellent soft skills that also has the technical and business knowledge to lead the project. It is critical that the successful candidate has experience of running change programmes over and above day-to-day running of a function.

The role is based in Asia and will require permanent relocation. My client has been unable to find any suitable candidates in Asia and hence are now looking for any candidates currently in Europe that would be interested in relocation.
