Amazing opportunity for a HR Manager to join a small Investment Bank, an organisation who prides itself on its commitment to a culture of rewarding and developing talent in a happy working environment.
The role requires a senior HR professional with extensive generalist experience preferably having worked with a small Financial Services environment. The role holder will be able to contribute effectively to the overall strategy of the HR department, influence change and drive performance through people, and will also be required to roll their sleeves up and deliver the day to day HR offering.
To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate that they can act as a credible and trusted partner to the business within a fast paced environment, displaying integrity and professionalism and taking personal accountability for results.
They will be used to taking ownership of complex problems and decisions and responding to them with a positive outlook.
Proactive and forward thinking, the role-holder will readily seek out better ways to deliver additional value to the business through HR solutions. They will be able to determine and deliver HR process needs in line with business objectives, having a sound commercial understanding of the business and markets ensuring that the wider business and commercial issues are addressed in applying a HR solution. In particular, the role holder will be able to demonstrate their strong commercial awareness and understanding of the business to key stakeholders.
This is a highly demanding role, within a hands-on HR Department of talented professionals. Applicants must therefore be confident of their ability to work in a challenging environment, managing a varied workload, and having a can-do approach.
You will be educated to degree level and CIPD (or equivalent) qualified and have a proven track record in a small financial service environment. You will also have experience of managing a small team.
