Energy Trading Business Consultant – Manager Level – London -£60K-£80K

My client is a central London based management consultancy. They are looking to grow their Trading & Risk Management practice which helps leading capital markets and energy firms improve the performance of their trading operations through a comprehensive set of services and solutions.

They are looking for an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) business consultant, who has a detailed understanding of energy trading, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the systems that allow companies to trade energy products and manage their risk.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Work on complex, multidisciplinary, multi-track projects and/or programs
- Time and budget allocation, scoping, quality and energy risk management and client relationship-management
- Provide structure and supervision to project teams to ensure maximum performance
- Provide continuous contribution to enhance and strengthen our Delivery Approach

Requirements:

- Substantial knowledge in using project- and risk management tools
- Strong energy trading knowledge, be it oil, power or gas.
- Strong ETRM systems knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Open to frequent overnight travel and work at client site
