Huxley Associates Opens First Scottish Office (Feb '09)

The Aberdeen office has been opened to serve as a base for our specialist oil and gas consultants from the Manchester office and facilitate our ambitious plans for future growth in what continues to be a buoyant market.

Over the last two years the growing Manchester-based team has visited the coastal city every six weeks to meet clients, sell the benefits of working with Huxley Associates and forge relationships with candidates in order to build up a database of local permanent and contract talent.

The Manchester Oil and Gas team was grown from our engineering division just one and a half years ago when a single consultant began to test the market and work in sub-sea design contract roles. The potential of the market soon became apparent and since then the team has grown at an incredible rate - we currently have seven contract and three permanent consultants working in tight vertical markets

From our Manchester office we are now supplying candidates for roles all over the world in locations such as Angola, Nigeria, Norway, Qatar and Russia and we work with organisations from Aberdeen SME's to some of the major international operators. Our niche-focused approach has come as a breath of fresh air to many companies who have become used to dealing with high volume suppliers and the low standard of service that often goes hand in hand with this recruitment model.
